Spring Beit Midrash

Disagreeing Without Being Disagreeable: How Far is Too Far?

Monday, April 12, 6 p.m.

Beit Midrash is an annual series that brings together college students and community members for several evenings of study throughout the year. This spring, Beit Midrash is going virtual and is the perfect opportunity to connect after Pesach for some Jewish learning.

Join us via Zoom to learn with fellow community members from the comfort of your home. Jewish texts give us guidance on how we should disagree, but how do we handle encounters with groups who challenge one of our fundamental values? How do these issues relate to  responsibilities towards coalitions and communities? We will explore a series of classic and contemporary texts to discuss these questions and more!

After you register, you will receive a Zoom link with login information for Beit Midrash. If your registration does not go through, please contact Liz Snider at [email protected] for assistance.

This program is offered free of charge. Donations in support of the program are gratefully accepted.
