Maine Conference for Jewish Life

June 17-19, 2022
Colby College;
Waterville, Maine

We're are so excited to invite you to join us IN PERSON at the Maine Conference for Jewish Life! Please fill out this form for each member of your party (you'll need to use the "Save Registrant" button at the bottom).

Here are some important details to know for this year's conference—please read thoroughly and contact us with any questions!

  • Colby's visitors policy dictates that everyone eligible must be fully vaccinated and boosted. You will be asked to show proof of vaccination (your card or a picture of it) when you check in. If you have a medical exemption, please note that on the form; we will provide you with a rapid test upon arrival, and while you may attend sessions, we will ask that you remain masked while inside any buildings. Unvaccinated visitors cannot attend indoor meals or stay in the dorms. As of April 2022, children under the age of 5, who are not eligible to be vaccinated, are welcome to participate in the MCJL. Parents of these children will be asked to provide a day-of rapid test upon check-in (or one will be provided).
  • Since our last conference, prices have gone up. These price increases reflect rising costs for catering services, and even our higher rate will not cover food costs for the conference—let alone any other costs. We keep the cost of the conference artificially low, in order to accommodate the needs of Maine's Jewish community. If you are able to make an additional donation to help defray the cost of putting on this event, and to help us cover those who cannot pay full price, please consider doing so; your generosity allows us to create dynamic, inclusive programming!
  • Early pricing has now ended, but we have received sponsorships from synagogues across Maine to allow us to provide discounts and scholarships as needed. We also offer a college student discount. If you need additional financial support in order to attend the conference, please email Mel Weiss at the address below.
  • We have received provisional approval for this event, but in the event of changing COVID protocols, the emergence of a new variant, or other issues, we acknowledge that cancellation is a possibility. Obviously, we will do everything in our power to prevent that, but in the event of a cancellation, we will notify you promptly and refund any payments.

We know the world is changing rapidly yet again, and we are working to keep you updated as quickly as we can! If you have questions about this form or the conference, or need to share additional information, please contact Mel Weiss at [email protected]
